TonoSauna was featured in the cover story article 'Urban Sauna Revival' by Jacob Wheeler. The article fails to accurately represent the collaboration between Emily Stover, John Moore, John Kim, Daniel Dean and myself. At least this is more local fuel for a Minneapolis public sauna project.

Perfect Sweat Summit
I was invited to the Perfect Sweat Summit at the Archimedes Banya Spa in San Francisco, CA. I presented the Tono Sauna project and got a great response. It was incredible connecting with sweat-bathing enthusiasts from around the world and good fuel for realizing a public sauna project in Minneapolis. As one conference goer put it, 'We Need This."
Open Source Ecology at UMN
Marcin Jakubowski, visited the University of Minnesota School of Architecture. Marcin Jakubowski is founder of Open Source Ecology and developing the Global Village Construction Set, an open source do-it-yourself (DIY) tool set of 50 different industrial machines necessary to create a small civilization with modern comforts. It was an honor spending the day with Marcin, I'm looking forwar to future collaborations!

Frogtown Farm Framework Plan Complete!
We completed the Frogtown Farm framework plan. It was an incredibly enriching experience working with the community of Frogtown in designing a 12 acre urban farm and park. The design responds to the desires and needs of this unique community.
