The Lynn on Bryant is a French-inspired bistro in South Minneapolis. The client wanted the small, high-ceilinged restaurant to have a clean, modern feel that was warm and comfortable. The design responded with the use of natural materials such as barnboard, and vintage telephone insulators.
The restaurant design featured a parametrically designed and digitally fabricated light installation. The installation uses vintage telephone insulators and reclaimed barn wood with new fabrication techniques to create an inviting space for a preferred dining area, which has no access to natural light.
